This is a genuine, Native American, handwoven piece of Art. It is the work of JOE WAH, Navajo Indian weaver, from Bitter Springs,Arizona. Bitter Springs is located in the very heart of the Navajo Nation. This is not a macrame piece, but rather wove out of natural sheep wool, using Navajo rug weaving techniques.The main part of this hanger resembles the hand woven wedding belts, worn by the Navajo people at their ceremonials. Joe used natural earth tones that compliment and enhance any decor, and will truly be a conversation piece in your home. The lenght on this piece is 54 inches. This piece will accomodate almost any size potted plant. Your plant will rest in a cradle of 6 braided cords. Plant in photos is not included.
