This large work of art
was made by the great Kachina Doll artist BILL BEGAY. BILL
comes from the Tonalea area of the Navajo Nation and
is known as a very fine Kachina Doll artist among his
people. Bill calls this piece "MORNING SINGER". This
Kachina stands 35 inches from the base to the top of
the headfeathers. The cape and breechcloth were made
out of deerhide, and Bill has painted a lot of
intricate Native American symbols on both. Note the
medicine pouch Morning singer has hanging from his
neck. I have
included 2 photo of the backside of this Kachina.
Notice the bear on top of the San Francisco Peaks
mountains. The San Francisco Peaks are 1 of the 4
mountains that are sacred to Native American tribes of
the southwest. As always Bill has paid very close
attention to detail when making this piece. This piece
has been signed by the artist on the bottom of the
base. Bill is shown in the photos proudly holding his
beautiful Kachina. This Kachina is 100% authentic
100% handmade by a Native American person. This item
was made in the USA. We offer a 30 day money back
guarantee. If you have any questions about this item
