This is a very nice carving by BILL BEGAY. BILL comes from the Tonalea area of the Navajo Nation and is known as a very fine Kachina Doll artist among his people. Bill calls this piece NAVAJO GRANDFATHER. This Kachina stands 21 inches from the base to the top of the headfeathers. The cape was made out of deerhide. As always Bill has paid very close attention to detail when making this piece. This piece has been signed by the artist on the bottom of the base.
